York University
York University approached Hambly & Woolley to refresh their brand identity. The institution embarked on a journey to clearly define who they are and what they stand for in a compelling and memorable way.
The branding team developed a design system that is centred around a graphic element called “Window of positive change” inspired on York’s look into the future and reflecting positive change through the institution’s research and progressive pedagogy.
The new design system was later taken to the digital platforms, where we designed the new York site. My role included the design of the homepage and a couple of subpages. I also worked with the Creative Director to produce all the modules and components York’s digital library which became the building foundation for the new York’s WordPress theme.
Designed at Hambly & Woolley Toronto. Creative Director: Dominic Ayre.
Working alongside York’s digital team, we developed a design library with components, helping establish York’s digital design guidelines. Components were later used to build all the university’s internal sites moving forward.
